Egg Drop Soup (4 servings)

Egg Drop Soup Ingredients

  • 2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) reduced sodium chicken broth

  • 2 thin slices fresh ginger

  • 2 eggs (beaten)

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Egg Drop Soup Preparation Method

1. Bring broth and ginger to a boil in a small saucepan

2. Hold serving spoon upside down over the pan and slowly pour the eggs over the spoon so they drip in ribbons into the simmering soups

3. Add onions and sesame oil.  Remove ginger and serve immediately.

Carbohydrate per serving of egg drop soup : 2 gram.
