Rules Of Atkins Induction

There are some rules of atkins induction that you must followed so that your body will trigger the fat burning mechanism

Rules 1 Of Aktins Induction - Eat 3 regular size of meals, or 4- 5 small meals a day.  Do not skip or go more than 6 hours without eating. 

Rules 2 of Atkins Induction - Eat < 20 grams a day of carbs most which must come from salad greens and other vegetables.

Rules 3 of Atkins Induction - Eat absolutely no fruit, pasta, grains, starchy vegetables or dairy product other than cheese, cream or butter.  Do not eat nuts or seeds during atkins induction pahse.

Rules 4 of Atkins Induction -Eat only from the list of food allowable under atkins diet induction phase.  Avoid those food not on the acceptable food list.

Rule 5  of Atkins Induction - Avoid coffee, tea, and soft drinks that contain caffeine.  Excessive caffeine has been shown to cause low blood sugar, which will result in craving for sugar.

Rule 6  of Atkins Induction - Avoid foods or drinks sweetened with artificial sweetener aspartame.  Instead use sucralose or saccharin.  Be sure to count each packet of any of these as 1 grams of carbs.

Rule 7 Atkins Induction - Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day to hydrate your body, avoid constipation and flush out by product of burning fat.

If you are in constipation mix a tablespoon or more psyllium husks in a cup or more of water and drink daily.  Or mix flaxseed into a shake or sprinkle wheat bran on a salad or vegetables.
